Radio Wye breaks new ground for Christian radio.

A BRITISH Christian-owned Independent local radio station goes on air towards the end of 1993. Radio Wye emerged victorious in its bid for a licence after facing stiff competition from three other applicants. The licence is for eight years in the Wycombe area. A further £55,000 capital is still required by Radio Wye to reach their winning bid of £230,000. CR
