Cross Rhythms undertakes a re-design for its mail order service.

CROSS RHYTHMS relaunched its direct-to-the-public Christian music service Cross Rhythms Direct on 1st December. The website for the mail order service has been given an extensive redesign by West Country design company Cornerstone Vision. The new version of the site is being described by Cross Rhythms Direct's co-ordinator Mark Goodge as "simpler to use, nicer to look at, but still offering the widest range of Christian music albums, each independently and impartially reviewed, to be found anywhere in Britain." Profits from Cross Rhythms Direct go to support the multifarious ministry aspects of Cross Rhythms which include a pioneering FM Christian radio station, several festivals, a Christian music magazine and its website which is updated daily with new Christian music news. As well as offering just about every Christian music album released by the record companies in the UK, Cross Rhythms Direct is also a key source of hundreds of independent releases by grassroots Christian music artists.

Cross Rhythms Direct began in 2002 and customer orders were originally fulfilled by Worthing-based CPO. However, from 1st December Cross Rhythms are handling the whole exercise directly. Said Cross Rhythms general manager Jonathan Bellamy, "Taking Cross Rhythms Direct in-house is another expansion of our activities and is a natural development for us in view of the extensive contact we have with the Christian music support base. Customers will now be able to buy records from us online or order them over the telephone and we'll be able to fulfill their orders directly. In time we are also planning a contemporary music shop at our headquarters in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent."

To recognise the relaunch Cross Rhythms Direct is engaging in an extensive publicity campaign. Two pounds off gift vouchers are being offered to everyone currently on the Cross Rhythms database plus a TV advertising campaign began on December 8th, with regular commercials broadcast on God TV. CR
