An album of sung parables is being released by broadcaster/singer Don Maclean.

WELL KNOWN British broadcaster Don Maclean will release his own 'Singing Parables' CD at the Heart Of England Christian Resources Exhibition being held at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry on 8th-10th February. Maclean, who recently relinquished hosting BBC Radio Two's Good Morning Sunday show after 15 years, recently visited Pope Benedict XVI to whom he presented the initial copy of his CD. Said the broadcaster/singer, "I know it sounds bizarre but no one's done the parables in this way before." They have been translated into modern lyrics and set to music by Fr John Daley of the Watermead Apostolate. He asked Don to record them.  CR
