AMERICA's annual Christian music awards, organised by the Gospel Music Association, held its 56th ceremony in Nashville in October. The winners were: Artist Of The Year: Forrest Frank; Songwriter Of The Year: Brandon Lake; Songwriter Of The Year (Non-Artist): Mitch Wong; Song Of The Year: "Hard Fought Hallelujah" (Writers) Brandon Lake, Jelly Roll, Steven Furtick, Benjamin William Hastings; New Artist Of The Year: Leanna Crawford; Producer Of The Year: Jeff Pardo; Rap/Hip Hop Song Of The Year: "I Need Faith" (Artist) Alex Jean; Rock Song Of The Year: "Sunset Silhouette" (Artist) Strings And Heart; Pop Song Of The Year: "Your Way's Better" (Artist) Forrest Frank; and Inspirational Song Of The Year: "The Jesus Way" (Artist) Phil Wickham.
