London worship leader Nick Herbert speaks about his 'Blameless' CD.

WORSHIP LEADER and songwriter Nick Herbert spoke recently about the 'Blameless' mini-album which was released recently on Survivor's Emerge label to considerable critical acclaim. Said Nick, "as a live album recorder at Church I think that 'Blameless' does capture something of our corporate life at St Mary's. We recorded the majority of the album in January and February during our extended worship service SOAK - this happens once a term and is a time to simply focus on God and worship Him. We felt that it was really important to carve out a slot in our Sunday gatherings for such a time because although we may be seen as a relatively busy church with over 1300 members, average age of out evening service is 26 and we have just planted our first church is Auckland, New Zealand - we believe that it is vital to connect to God and grow in intimacy with Him before we seek to get involved in His work." CR
