Bobby Womack, Darlene Love release gospel albums

IN DIFFERENT initiatives two giants of R&B/pop have recorded their debut gospel albums. Bobby Womack, after 40 years in R&B, has released 'Back To My Roots' on The Right Stuff label, distributed by EMI featuring traditional quartet material and new R&B gospel cuts.
Darlene Love, the session singer who reached international prominence in the '60s singing lead on numerous hits produced by Phil Spector, has recorded her gospel debut, and her first solo album for 15 years, with 'Unconditional Love' on Harmony Records. CR
