Minnesota-based Kevin and Kimberly Gullickson have been creating worship music for a number of years now. This latest offering is a culmination of reworked and re-recorded tracks from their previous two albums, intended as concise radio edits or to be enjoyed by all. The contemporary style of the music is enticing right from the start, with the first track seeming strangely reminiscent of Wierd Al Yankovic in its accompaniment. They are simple worship songs here though production leaves a lot to be desired. The instrumentation, though in part recorded live, has a very distinctive MIDI sound while the vocals, although in tune, seldom sound properly mixed. In truth, this is little more than demo quality which won't get the radio exposure the Gullicksons are looking for.
