Y'know at least I'm proud to hand out my Christian acapella albums to my non-Christian acapella-singing chums. People who rave about superb secular vocal kings like Sweet Harmony Uharm and The Nylons are finding plenty to admire about emerging Christian outfits. AVB are a five-strong male group who use the sample techniques in a way that causes sharp division amongst fans of the genre. Thus it places them approximately in the Boys To Men category, rather than the purer form of the art which relies for it's fill-ins on highly skilled techniques of vocal percussion. Plenty of styles assembled for the smooth AVB sound some rap, dance and traditional street corner harmonising Excellent blend of voices, fine soloists. Apart from other considerations this type of music is very demanding on both concentration and intense energy levels. AVB master it all in fine style. A hugely enjoyable album.
