Acacia Grove are a band from Cornwall and with a '70s rock-inspired sound make an interesting listen. They sound at their most comfortable when rocking out, so "Spirit Of The Age" is the weakest song. Vocals are not their strong suit but they do give it a lot of passion which must be admired. Rumour has it they are working on a full album, which if true will hopefully be really worth a listen, especially if you love bands like Thin Lizzy, Led Zep, Black Sabbath, etc. The biggest downfall of this three-song effort is that the recording quality is pretty poor - a big rock song such as "Stormchaser" needs a big sound that's well mixed - hopefully something we will hear from the upcoming album.
