You're not going to believe this but...Adolfo Rivero plays a Spanish guitar with three necks - all poking out in different directions. He's also come up with an album that is incredibly hard to pigeonhole. But, if Koinonia played jazz, then that category comes pretty close to describing the fusion of styles found on this highly original Latin collection. The Anglo Hispanic title reflects Rivero's transatÂlantic collaboration with Kenneth Nash, the multi-talented percussionist, fondly remembered for his contribution to Marantha Music's 'Colours' series of instruÂmental recordings in the '80s. Between them, Rivero and Nash have come up with a veritable feast of exotic sounds to soothe away the workaday stress. With titles like "Strawberry Kisses" and "Get On The Good Foot" even the most jaded of palates are bound to find this album much to their liking.
