This is jazz but it is very easy listening jazz. The album opens with a fairly upbeat sound that soon develops into an excellent jazz number with Ben Tankard's prowess on the piano shining through. It then moves onto a soul track on which the influence of the album's joint producer, Fred Hammond (ex-Commissioned fame) clearly stands out as indeed it does on a couple of other tracks. Despite its title some of the tracks do feature vocals with the album moving between jazz, soul and some excellent ballads. The album is a great listen which I would recommend for those night time drives or those evenings in with your friend(s)!
