This DVD box set comprises of three live recorded praise and worship events from the camp of the famed bishop. The first is 'Woman Thou Art Loosed' which is a yearly women's conference filmed at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans. The event contains performances by luminaries like Vickie Winans and Shirley Caesar with T D acting as host and is emotional and highly charged as it confronts subjects like incest, abuse, neglect, lost children and unemployment. Vickie Winans and Sheryl Brady perform a passionate rendition of the title track. The DVD also includes commentary from Jakes, Shirley Caser, Vickie Winans and Sheryl Brady who explain the reason there is a need for a women's conference and they relive the response of the audience. The second DVD in the package, 'Live From The Potter's House', was recorded in Dallas, Texas and includes praise and worship from soloists and The Potters House Mass choir. Before each performance Jakes presents a thought provoking short sermon. The energetic choir along with an equally lively band achieve a flawless performance of "Majesty". The choir are full of life and they are able to sustain their vigour particularly when they sing "Let's Just Praise The Lord". The third production 'Get Ready: The Best of T D Jakes' is an assortment of memorial performances from the Potter's House. However, many of the tracks on this project are found on the previous two DVDs. The whole viewing experience is emotionally charged, with good camera work and lighting but the duplication of material brings down the rating.
