Bon Voyage have captured the perfect sound for uplifting music, because you can't really listen to them without a smile on your face. Jason Martin's guitar might make them sound like the Smiths and Julie Martin's vocals might make you think of a coherent Liz Fraser but while this album might not sound contemporary, it shows off fantastic heritage. 'The Right Amount' is very short and the band keep the same style all the way through so the tracks do tend to blur, but its standout tracks are fantastic, besides it's such a feel good album you don't particularly care.
