Pittsburgh-based Brady does not have the benefit of being a household name, but there is a fair chance you may have heard him as a session player on numerous projects. He also leads worship at The Victory Church in his hometown. This is Brady's solo debut album which proves without doubt that this man has mastered his chosen instrument, the guitar, and that his style is both varied and eclectic. For example the title track starts with electric guitar that would feel at home in the best of rock bands, then it breaks into flamenco! This style is explored further on the Spanish sounding "Cara Bella" which contains amazing guitar finger work. Other tracks feature hints of jazz, folk and classical. The collection is not entirely instrumental, "Midnight Prayer", for example, creatively combines guitar over female vocals (wife Jennifer), and a gently spoken prayer. Brady has achieved what few similar albums have, the ability to engage the listener and keep his attention while we experience a master musician indulge his craft- something that should be applauded.
