Carrollton were formed in 2013 and have toured extensively in the States. They took time out of the travelling itinerary in the spring of 2015 to produce a mini-album followup to their first album 'Breathe In Deep'. Powerful vocal performances from Justin Mosteller are the lynch pin of this band, clear faith filled lyrical content against a guitar driven rock palette ensures listeners are in no doubt where the soul of the band lies. Most songs drive along as if the band are being chased by a roaring lion but the slightly slower, more country rock tinged "Meant To Be" and "Holding On To You" are equal to, if not stronger than, the others. The touches of a sound reminiscent of The Eagles or Poco in these tracks are a refreshing change and would bear further development. The production on the first five tracks provides a clear vocal but the remainder of the sound becomes a little muddy in the mix, leaving instruments other than guitar, bass and drums a bit lost. For the final three tracks called 'The Jetlag Sessions' the production becomes crisper and clearer.
