This US CCM singer has been on the music scene for quite a number of years now, with mixed reviews of previous recordings. However, Cheri has built a good reputation for herself at the same time seeing herself top of the charts on a number of occasions in the past and has even bagged herself a prestigious Dove Award. With a notable reputation preceding this latest 12-track CD, thankfully I wasn't left feeling disappointed. There are two particularly good songs featured side by side on this album, both unique in style, showing Cheri's vocal diversity. "Rain Or Shine Friend" is an upbeat, easy going number, followed by the mellower title track - a beautiful song. Cheri should feel very proud indeed of this lovely blend of intimate praise and worship infused songs. Maybe not quite enjoying the high profile she once had but Cheri is still a class act.
