Aussie worship leader Colin has recently arrived in the UK for a time and can currently be found in and around Scarborough. Before relocating here, he was involved in numerous worship and musical projects with the likes of Hillsongs in Sydney, Rebecca St James’ band Fusebox, Youth Alive Australia and Planetshakers School in Perth on the west coast, so he has quite a pedigree, to put it mildly. It won’t be any surprise then to discover that ‘Work Of Art’ is an assured and highly accessible worship album, well produced and possessing that Aussie trademark variance of light and shade throughout, well demonstrated on “All Glory To You”, although the tone in general is reflective and worshipful, with sensitive use of strings (“Just One Day” and a lovely version of “It Is Well”). All in all, a great way to draw yourself gently into the presence of an awesome creator.
