Christsyde are a pretty hot crew and here their rapper/singer/engineer/producer Mickell Tyler, better known as Coo-B, pitches in with a solo joint. It’s good too. “Getdown”, with its sung chorus, is infectious and though the song to his long suffering mother, “Mama”, may be an acquired taste, “Crazy”, with raps from Coo-B and MC Flo and a vocal hook from Big Will over a thudding groove, is a delight, particularly the end when Coo-B kicks MC off his track! “Bumpin’” is pretty phat too though I’m not sure we need an instrumental backing track at the album’s close.

I think that WHOLE album is OFF THE HOOK! (for those that
aren't hip to the lingo, thats means IT ROCKS!) All the
songs are up tempo and make you want to dance. And at the
same time giving a message & ministering to one's soul.
While you may think that the song "MaMa" is an acquired
taste, it serves its purpose, which is to let a single &
dedicaed (not long suffering) mother know that he loves her.
I for one loved the song! It is refreshing to see that there
is music that does more than disrespect woman, sing about
money & sex, or just be vulgar. Great job COO-B, I can't
wait to hear your next project!
