It's a very difficult task in this day and age to create a rock worship project without drawing comparisons to the hundreds of bands who've done the same thing in the last decade. Crossbeam manage to combine their own worship songs with some favourites with pleasing results. I liked the rocky anthemic opener "I Have Come Here To Worship". Not an original lyrical idea but well executed. The gentle acoustic ballad "You're The Fire" is rather nice too. When it comes to the covers, their version of Delirious?'s "I've Found Jesus" is nicely funky and adds something to the original whereas Third Day's "Your Love Oh Lord" is too similar to the original to merit inclusion. Best cover has to be the drifting blissed out "Holy And Anointed One" with "Lord Reign In Me" a close second because the band threw so much guitar into the mix! Fabulous! It's not a groundbreaking effort but a strong worship album that is worth checking out.

Are you kidding me? Crossbeam totally rock. I recently went to a concert with cross beam as the warm up gig. Kato were paying and ot be honest i have never heard of them before!! Cross beam were so much betterm the crow were loving them, the music was totally empowering and out of this world. I've never been able to praise God in such a way. Crossbeam are great and i dont think we've seen the best form them yet. They get better and better each time i hear them, and i cant wait to hear more.

Trust me Beamer, I DID listen to it and as you can tell from the grading, I thought it was good but not groundbreaking. Looking forward to hearing the new one though to see how they've developed. I think even the band themselves would admit that they aren't quite as good as the hyped comments that have been added. I'd imagine that it's nice to be loved by such deboted fans!

Possibly the best band Ive ever seen live and that's including Delirious & Third Day. They rock it up like nobody else and then somehow seem to take it to an intimate place that's hard to imagine. Seriously worth checking out. I cant' believe that somebody big hasn't picked up on them yet.

These guys rock live! Check out their website htp://www.crossbeam.co.uk and go and see them. They've done another album since this one as well - what took you so long CrossRhythms?
