Their first full album since signing for the Facedown label, this release from Virginia-based rockers DENS contains 11 songs with only one word in their titles and, put together, the track listing spells out the Proverbs 17:28 verse "even foolish men are wise when they learn to keep quiet". In keeping with this overarching theme, the band tackle various aspects of broken communication with the likes of "Foolish" - featuring vocals from War Of Ages' Leroy Hemp - and "When" tackling things head on whilst the likes of "Even" and "Keep" take their respective titular words as starting points upon which to expand. DENS are a class act and they know when to pack a punch or draw back - the brief nu-metal expose "To" and the more worshipful "Quiet" being at both ends of the spectrum - whilst lead singer Shaun Hypes puts in a simply stellar shift throughout. Laura McElroy of Comrades makes a cameo appearance on "Are" to add the icing on the cake.
