This album completes Dan's CCM vinyl. The title track
begins side 1, a chorus that sticks like so many other
choruses of songs:I love it: and this song would
become reality for Dan years later, he would crossover.
The follow up song "I Will Not Be Silent", another that I really like: this song is a great anthem for those that believe today. Going back many years, Dan takes a stab at Beach Boy Brian Wilson's " I Know
There's an Answer"; awesome bkgrd vocals for the
album that stand out superb! Last song for side 1 is
only song where Dan plays all instruments, "His Own"
nice reflective song. Side 2 uptempo starter song
"My JESUS" will not let you sit still. "Get Ready" is
definitely a song for today,"people get ready, cause
He's on His way..." "Press On" is another song to
encourage believers in this day and age. I am so
glad that Dan has left a legacy of songs that still
speak and encourage the believers in today's world.
The closing song on side 2 takes one back to that
rockin' spiritual heard on secular radio in 1970:
The classic "Spirit in the Sky". I don't know if that
was Dan's intent with the song, but it sure reminds
the listener of the tune. We are blessed to still
hear Dan's music, God is good!-God Bless, Don
