Five tracks from the ministry of Australian David Evans who knocked everyone dead with his live sets at the Cross Rhythms festivals in the summer. This EP features some of the material he played live including the brilliant title song complete with electric saw effects and one of those great grooves which Evans executes so well! Following that, the Australian Youth Alive anthem "Huge" pounds out the speakers with a fat slab of funky rock'n'roll and one of those punch in the air choruses which makes you want to...well... punch the air, quite frankly! More rock orientated than some of his other material, some of this mixes synths and guitars in equal measure but "Not Of This World" has plenty of '80s sounding guitars riffing away and could just as easily have been recorded by Petra! Then just for good measure he gives us a more dance oriented remix to satisfy those of us who enjoy it when Evans gets into dancey rock mode. One of the most anointed Christian artists I've ever seen in a live setting, this handful of studio songs is as good an introduction as any.
