I thought Neecy was Deniece Williams. But no matter, this lady is hot, with a voice which can duck and swerve like a road racer and an album likely to do well even in the crowded contemporary black gospel market. Here she's showing plenty of rhythmic muscle while the ballad "I Love You" is sweetly soulful despite some dreadfully banal lyrics. Lovers of the Sanctified Dance will go for "Right On Time" while there's a pretty decent rap on "Ain't No Came" by one Gregory Tichenor. A good album.
