Desperation was a conference in Colorado Springs, which brought together three worship leaders who may not exactly be big bananas on the international worship scene but who each have powerful anointings, excellent new rock worship songs and enough earthy passion to wrench even the most jaded worship album reviewer from resorting to observations about the formulaic ways of many rock worship albums. Yes there is a tendency here to use arrangements which sound exactly like the kind of thing Martin Smith and co might com up with, but the quality of the songwriting and, as I've already mentioned, the passion, warms the heart and lifts the spirit. Will this release catapult Glenn Packiam, Jon Egan and Jared Anderson to world-wide church fame? Probably not. ButĀ Anderson's "Amazed" and Glenn Packiam'sĀ  "From You" are magnificent, heartfelt, declarations of love to God which deserve to be heard in thousands of churches. Now shout that from the rooftops.

Product Description
Desperation is a powerful 'movement' of God that began at New Life Church in Colorado Springs, USA. It's mission is to mobilise students and young adults in Intimacy (worship), Intercession (prayer) and Impact (ministry).
'From The Rooftops' is the live recording from the recent Desperation conference that gathered students from around the USA to passionately worship God.
Worship leaders/songwriters Jared Anderson, Jon Egan and Glenn Packiam are the vessels used by God to introduce these new songs of worship and adoration to a hungry generation of worshippers.
