This Bristol-based pop rock team have been engaged in schools ministry for a long time and as part of their outreach gave away 1000 copies of this CD to school kids. Recorded in 2000 but still sounding fresh 'Humble Pie' introduces this guitar-based band as ministry focussed and up front about their faith. Highlights? The sense of release on the driving "No Strings Attached" with the repeated cry of "God you're so good". I also liked the opener "Outspoken" and on the album singer Paul Maxwell comes over as a cross between Martin Smith and Graham Parker which is very good indeed. On a gentler note, the Gethsemene song "Falling On Your Own" is touching and the acoustic worship of "Found In You" is a poignant closer.

Really suprised, although the album is related to faith, it is really great music unlike alot of american cheesy faith bands, such and god is bigger than the boogey man.
