If you like your gospel sugary sweet then Dorinda Clark-Cole will never fail to disappoint. Dorinda has been singing since the age of five as part of the celebrated Clark Sisters and her vocal stylings are passionate, declamatory affais exuding soul power. Recorded live at St Agnes Baptist Church in Houston this DVD starts with the up tempo foot stomper "I've Got Work To So Do" and continues to deliver traditional gospel with the verve and panache you would expect from such a celebrated artist and songwriter. If I were to give out one criticism it would be that there is nothing groundbreaking here, Dorinda sticks to what she knows and does best and longtime gospel devotees may feel they have been here before. However, this is a confident performance which fans will relish. Notable tracks are "So Many Times" which oozes with energy and passion along with the emotionally charged duet with Kevin Gray, "Everything He Promised".
