Where to begin describing this, Dorinda's third album since the Clark Sisters all went solo? It's absolutely captivating and words have escaped me as I listen again. She is a living legend and deservedly so: singing like an angel, pushing the boundaries of her voice, her songwriting, her energy levels and broadening the horizons of gospel music onwards and upwards. Actually this album is not groundbreaking in the way that the Clark Sisters' early work was (the recipe here is traditional gospel with as much passion and verve as you can imagine, mixed with a tablespoon of jazz, a desert spoon of funk and a teaspoon of R&B). But it is a revelation in the way that one who has been around for so many years can sound so fresh, young, vital and stunning. All credit to producer James "Jazzy" Jordan (who also worked on Kirk Franklin's latest album, by the way) for bringing the best out of Dorinda, for providing a band so hot that they could boil an egg before the end of the first verse, and for keeping the joyful victorious gospel focus. In the closing song, Dorinda sings with John P Kee, "Lord I thank you in advance for all the things you've done: it's not over". AMEN!

Product Description
With uncompromising ministry, dynamic delivery, and beauty unparalleled, Dorinda Clark-Cole returns with her third solo recording on Gospo Centric Records.
Long revered as the 'churchy', 'jazzy', & 'preachy' member of the internationally celebrated sister group, The Clark Sisters, Dorinda has always had her own signature sound, and as a result, has built a legion of fans that yearns for a raspy contralto that she delivers like none other.
Like her sisters, each of whom have ventured into solo careers of their own, Dorinda is a phenomenal vocalist, but she has a two-fold ministry — not only does she sing, but she is a renowned, powerful, and dynamic preacher as well.
Dorinda travels all over the world, singing and preaching the good news to all who will listen, and she does so with class and elegance, and poise unparalleled. Her ministry is one of healing, restoration, and deliverance. She has become known as ‘The Rose Of Gospel’ as she incorporates the distribution of roses, symbols of the beauty that can emerge from dirt, within her ministry.
With this album, Dorinda picks right up where she last left off and encourages her listeners to embrace the destiny that God has prepared for them. Experience the passion, the ministry, and the dynamic delivery of Dorinda Clark-Cole!!!
