The music of this critically acclaimed Americana group has featured in the soundtracks of US TV shows such as Nashville, How I Met Your Mother and House. This 12-track album is released just prior to Ellie, the only female member, announcing a more part time role within the band especially in regards to touring. However, here she is very present in what can be best described as an approachable, modern country album, sounding similar in many ways musically to Tom Petty or the Jayhawks. The very chilled out opener "Another Man's Shoes" is a perfect example of this comparison. There are some great tracks here, the standout songs (and there are many) include the very simple heartfelt "The Wine We Drink", the infectious "I Love You, I Do" and catchy "Rooftops". The songs have a rare ability to draw you in, with lyrics the listener can identify with such as "Amidst the questions and the worry/A peace of mind always takes me by surprise" ("What Would I Do Without You") or "Sometimes it feels like you're watching the sun from a rain cloud/Far from home" ("Tomorrow"). I suspect this album will become a classic.
