There seem to be a lot of rock bands out there at the moment. In the States you can hardly move for acts like Building 429 and DecembeRadio booming from the Christian airwaves. By all accounts Echoing Angels, a five piece from Georgia, are still holding down their day jobs in contracting, home construction and teaching golf! Without wishing to sound like a reality television show judge, they won't be holding them down for much longer. 'You Alone' pushes all the right buttons and then twists the dial up to 11. From the banjo in the intro to "I Will" to the stirring vocals of "You Alone", it doesn't put a foot wrong in creating accessible, radio-friendly pop rock. Frontman Chris Peevy sings with plenty of passion and the guitars come crashing down all around him. As a debut record, it's hard to fault, although there a lot of bands out there at the moment who sound like them. "Coming Back To Life" and "Rise Up" sound like they have been on the radio for sometime. "Hallelujah" really soars as a worship song. It's a good CD, but one has to say there is a nagging feeling that you've heard it all somewhere before.

Product Description
For the past seven years this powerful worship group have lead churches all over America, echoing the same message for everyone to hear – the good news that Christ has come to save the world.
With powerful worship songs that inspire and conviction that pours out with every song, their mission has been simple yet focussed – leading people into the presence of God. While they blaze through their rock moments, sit down for acoustic segments and lead praise and worship in the most intimate moments, Echoing Angels continue to play their small role in God’s large plan.
Musically they appeal to fans of MercyMe, Third Day, Tonic and Matchbox20.
'We are simple guys with a simple message. That message is that Jesus paid the ultimate price for all of us.' Chris Peevy, Lead Vocalist.
