Not as you would immediately think, a bunch of 'Winnie The Pooh' fans! Instead this is a bunch of Finnish Christian musicians who together make up a rather tight pop rock band with a skill in creating strident riffs, solid rhythms and catchy choruses, all helpfully sung in English! Singer Jennie Storbacks has a killer voice which is expressive and powerful and guitarist songwriter Kaj Korkea knows how to write strong songs that highlight the band's skills. Standouts include "Take My Hand" with its lyrical guitar intro and street sound effects and "What I Didn't Deserve" which allows the band to really rock out as well as the simplicity of the acoustic "As Long As I Have My Tongue". Ultimately, 'Essentially' is punch the air European pop rock, less Eurovision and more full of vision!
