I can never quite get my head round the mass appeal of this type of faceless worship album, churned out by the record company machines, with each one sounding much like another. And I'm afraid I find this as particularly uninspiring. If you're looking for new songs, leave this album well alone as this set sticks with classic songs from the last couple of decades ("These Are The Days Of Elijah", "Jesus, Jesus, Holy And Anointed One", etc) plus a couple of traditional hymns such as "Be Thou My Vision". But if you were at Focusfest '98, and want a souvenir of the event, then this is a good quality memento: no breathtaking or innovative musicianship, but well played by the all-girl band, and faultlessly led by Geraldine Latty. It manages to create a very genuine 'live' atmosphere, making you feel as if you are in the marquee with the Focusfest worshippers - no doubt down to the mixing skills of Christian music veteran Caroline Bonnet.
