GS Megaphone might wear their early ‘90s rock influences on their sleeves, but they can wear them with pride as they pull off a whole spectrum of rock styles effortlessly. From the ethnic stomp of “Reformation” to the jaunty pop feel of “Save Me” you can find Randy Shreve’s heart for God central to his writing. Like all the best albums ‘Beautiful World’ is quite an eclectic listen, forget that you can tag songs to other bands' styles. Whereas some rock bands only seem to have two gears, slow and fast, GS Megaphone have more than a juggernaut.
