Nine pleasant ditties penned and performed by Messrs Briley and Cunningham with a mainly acoustic styled backing. This is very 70s and had me thinking of somebody like Gallagher And Lyle. Carefully put together songs with worthy lyrics, this is adult music which is well performed and cleanly caught on tape. Members of LCGC turn up on a couple of songs to ooh and aah in the background which is nice. Actually "nice" is a good word to describe the project. Lyrically, it's kind of A Level poetry style and some of the songs are either so deeply personal or wilfully obscure that it's hard to tell what's going on. I actually like "Thanks To You" with its soulful melody and the rockier pop of "Arms Of Love" the best. Elsewhere it's all well intentioned and well played but just a little bit dull.
