Singing a whole host of songs mainly associated with The Happy Goodmans such as "What A Happy Time", "Eyes Of Jesus" and the very catchy "The Sweetest Song I Know", this DVD came out in 2015 and it is just as good as the strong-selling CD. The project was recorded/filmed in front of many of Bill Gaither's musical alumni with the Gaither Band doing a couple of numbers, but it really is a tour de force by this exceptionally fine and talented trio. With a smile on their faces, even in dealing with sometimes serious and emotional lyrics, it really is 'Songs In The Key Of Happy!' Musically it crosses over into country as do many Southern gospel type efforts, here backed by steel guitar and even some strong fiddle playing at times. I always think a great litmus test for any review is would I buy it, answer here an emphatic yes. I just can't wait to own my own copy! I think it would be just the thing to put on when you ever have a bad day and need really cheering up.
