For this worship album, the popular stalwart of the Gaither Homecoming series deserts his usual Southern gospel roots for a stab at a more contemporary approach, including several very good songs from the UK such as the Matt Redman classic "10,000 Reasons". Predictably though, Guy's version isn't as good as the original. Better are his covers of Darlene Zschech's "Shout To The Lord" and Andrae Crouch's "Through It All". The standout tracks are a new song "I Need You More" and a very moving version of "Take My Life". The backing mix of modern country allied to some songs from a non-country genre works well. If, as it is often preached, worship of God is the TRUE purpose of every Christian, then this fine album can only help any believer achieve that most commendable aim. Recommended.
