Hannah Traylor and Elizabeth Foster are two lasses from South Carolina who write all their own material and who have a free and easy folksy/acoustic pop style that is not only very listenable but also capable of giving the listener the spiritual equivalent of a kick up the backside. To say I was impressed is to massively understate! Their lyrics are unashamedly poetic, yet very up-front, soundly Scriptural and totally lacking in cliche (an example: "I'll stand only if you're standing with me/You give me wings to fly, when I can go no further/How long before the sun begins to set on our ease?/Well I don't care, 'cos as long as I'm with you, I'm so much stronger'), and the music is full of melodic twists and turns, hooky melodies and vocal harmonic surprises of the sort that these old ears have not heard for yonx. Virtuoso musicians playing real instruments round off a stunning package that is a delight from start to finish. Well worth making an effort to get hold of.

Hi! I am trying to find the chords for Hannah and Elizabeth's "The Blessing". I bought their album YEARS ago and have listened to it off and on and absolutely love the music. When I became a foster parent to a teenager "The Blessing" was my prayer for her. I am not adopting her and I REALLY want to play and sing "the blessing for her as a surprise but I'm having trouble working out the chords. Do you think anyone can help me find them?
