Hillsong are noisy, Hillsong United are noisier and Hillsong Kids are. . . AAARGH! It starts, like any other Hillsong album, with the cheering congregation (although on this album at a noticeably higher pitch). Before you can catch your breath there are crashing drums, swirly pop synths, rock guitars and a children's choir joining the vocalist as they blast their way through "Tell The World", "My Redeemer Lives", "Forever" and "I'm Not Ashamed". These songs have appeared on previous Hillsong albums not specifically aimed at children. This just goes to show that the chanty choruses and simple lyrics of the Hillsong stable suit young teens (and younger children) perfectly. Of the new tracks written for this album there are several by Julia A'Bell, the Children's Pastor at Hillsong, and as you would expect, this is a very professional, joyous, high energy, high praise worship album which your tweenage kids will love! Lyrically, you can't fault this. There are songs of faith, declaration, the cross, the resurrection, and the love of our God.
