From the stables of such giants of CSM as The Velvet Burning comes Honey. This is their third album, the first two to critical acclaim. I have to say that the same will apply to the third, at least from this reviewer. I've enjoyed this album immensely. It's melodic, thoughtful and imaginative. For those of you who don't know Honey's work, I can draw a few comparisons that may help in placing the style of this album: it wouldn't be out of place in any fan of Travis, the afore-mentioned Velvet Burning and I got a distinct impression of Tears For Fears (at least vocally). My favourite tracks include the marvellous "Missing You", "Catherine Before" and "My Cinderella". Yes, there is a pattern here. Lots of songs about girls. Nothing wrong with that. A special album.
