A six piece band from Tamworth whose independently recorded release is enthusiastically played but badly recorded so that the band sound messy and the songs sound too busy. Sadly this spoils the listening pleasure even though everything is in tune and clearly the band can write decent songs. It's obvious that Icon have a ministry focus, which is to be encouraged, but more work needs to be done in getting their songs down effectively as this CD doesn't really do them any favours. Ragged. Maybe next time.
