Jerry is an artist I have enjoyed on a number of occasions and his regular tours of the UK have helped spread country music's popularity. But somehow I have to admit to being disappointed by this album. The opening track "Church On Cumberland Road" is excellent, as is "Angels Among Us". But from then on the quality of the songs drops off. Eric Clapton's "Tears In Heaven" has never really appealed to me and Jerry's cover fails to ignite. The title track is good, but I couldn't honestly say this was a great album. Pleasant maybe, but for an artist of Jerry's undoubted talent, I am still waiting for the definitive Jerry Arhelger album!
