First off I should explain that this group are nothing to do with KIIS although they too perform gospel hip-hop. This K2S are a while brother and sister duo from New York. This is K2S' third album though the first I've come across. Pretty impressive it is too with Smooth and Jen-E both showing themselves to be accomplished rappers though it's Smooth who takes up most of the mic time. Both "The Way You Make Me Feel" with a chest-crunching sub bass and "None Greater" with the duo swapping verses work well. Only on "I'll Be There For You", when a rap is tried over a decidedly dull mid tempo song (presumably sung by Jen-E) is the effect dissipated. The lyrics are in the main praise-orientated and overall the effect of 'Message Music' is of an above average duo rapping praises to God.
