Multi-award winning Southern gospel soprano Karen Peck left Spring Hill Records last year for Daywind. This CD compiles her time on Bill Gaither's label. Her voice is clear and pure and is backed well by harmonies from her trio. Her particular brand of Southern gospel isn't of the old-time hymn variety, it's more country (when it was still western) sprinkled with a dose of power ballads and AOR pop. Like traditional Grand Old Opry acts, the lyrics try to be clever. Sometimes they make a good point: "Four Days Late" is on time for Jesus, in the raising of Lazarus. Other times, they are corny: "Is There A Christian In The House?" instead of a doctor.

What I am really looking for is the lyrics to her song
Christian in the House. Would like to sing it at church, but
need the lyrics. Can you help me out on this?
