The live Kevin Prosch worship experience has always been exceptional especially in those moments where they leave the security of the song and head off into the spontaneous. Some of my most powerful worship experiences have happened in these circumstances as Kevin flowed in the song of the Lord. If ever there was a need to prove the fact that God speaks through music as well as words, it would be contained in this album. It isn't simply what Prosch sings, it's the very way in which the band of musicians experiment with different sounds and textures, interpolating atmospheres that match the prophetic nature of the songs unfolding. Recorded live between 1994 and 1996 this album collects together nine moments of improvised worship. At times gentle, "Taste And See" has distant rolls of thunder and rain mixed with fluttering piano and Kevin's cello; sometimes louder, "O Come Let Us Adore Him" has a celebratory feel to it and "Wheel Of God" is energised by excitement. This is a remarkable album. Spiritually stunning, there are moments that send shivers down the spine like the time Kevin first sings the line that gives "Meet The Healer" its title. Difficult to pick a favourite track but the passion of "One Thing" reduced me to tears and gave me the desire to get out my guitar and cry out to God myself. A very special worship album.
