Wakin' Up The Dead is one of the most underappreciated
records of rocknroll. Knott is clearly a pop songsmith
genius...trapped in layers of moody darkness. Again, LSU
weaves redemption around stark themes in ways that no other
band has ever matched. WUTD is a brilliant record that must
be revisited. The Live @ Cornerstone stuff is unessential,
yet it provides a unique window into the dynamics of this
legendary band. The live recordings sound like bootlegs, but
for a guy like me who never had the priveledge to see them
in concert, I'll take what I can get.
