After a few albums, Larnelle presents us with album
"Best Of". Before he was known as Sandi Patty's
best comrade, he had a string of songs to echo out through the radio airwaves. You just mention his first name and people know who you are talking about. Side 1 begins with a song based on John 8:32 "Free" great song! A great cover of fellow ccm/
gospel artist Ken Medema's early 70's song "LORD, Listen to Your Children Praying".
I love the song from his debut "Tell it to JESUS";backed by a wonderul choir: this song is for everyone! Side 1 ends with the well known "Statue of Liberty" Larnelle sings it as only he could, his vocals at their best.
Side 2 starts with "Part the Waters" I simply love it!
How many believers haven't met the words to this song, we all desire calm waters 24/7.
"Let JESUS Do it For You" is another favorite, great ccm styled song.
The album closes with a great gospel standard, written by songwriter Lari Goss, "The Cornerstone", again Larnelle sings it at his best!
GOD Bless! - Don
