This is I believe the 14th album from Lenny, the singer/songwriter probably best known in the UK as the writer of Dove Award winning "Above All" and "Falling", (which appears on this album as a bonus track with a new recording). 'Love Like No Other' is a solid set of songs with the opener, "Whiter Than Snow", an up-tempo polished West Coast rock number sung in Lenny's Roy Orbison-style tones. "You Reign" starts to get a bit grittier, a more blue eyed soul number with a great rhythm section. "Hallelujah" brings the pace and dynamic down a few notches, with a great chorus and lyric. The rest of the album remains at this more mellow dynamic, which suits Lenny's voice and songwriting better. The closing track, "You First", is a strong country song that really stands out, and has already been covered by country artist Mac McAnally. Lenny LeBlanc is clearly an above average songwriter and some of these songs have potential for corporate worship. But the laid back feel of the arrangements mean that it lacks any dynamics and is unlikely to find many new supporters for the veteran's relaxed take on worship ministry.
