Linda's album is inspirational music in an easy listening format and although she's not exactly pushing back the frontiers of original music, she is recording songs that have a strong ministry impact. Many who have enjoyed her live performances have suggested that she ought to record an album of hymns and worship songs so 'In Him' is just that! Undoubtedly gifted with a strong voice and the ability to shine whether delivering a rhythmic "Be Thou My Vision" or a stirring powerhouse performance of "How Great Thou Art", there's plenty here to encourage the soul with backing created by producer Colin Owen. Nice variety too from the obvious hymns like "Amazing Grace" and" I Surrender All" through to some classic CCM like "Midnight Cry" and Leslie Phillips' "By My Spirit". A good album in support of a strong grassroots ministry.
