This Glaswegian outfit are one of many Scottish bands that have recently fallen under the Cross Rhythms radar. This particular band remind me a little of another Scottish outfit, Mogul. Perhaps they are at times a little harder edged than Mogul but with an indie approach to rock. The lyrics keep a strong indication of their Christian foundation, allowing the listener to feel uplifted and inspired by the well crafted, positive music. The music itself is certainly performed well enough and the reasonable production allows them to create a sound as near as possible to how they hopefully intended it. Whilst my favourite track is the heaviest song of the three, "Blue", the track that seems to be getting the best reception is the opener, "Concerning Voice". With some rock and roll influences, it's certainly a catchy song and I'd imagine it goes down very well amongst their home fans. A great first step but more progress is needed before they turn any new heads.
