This album contains a variety of songs ranging from the R&B sound of the title track to the more traditional "Peace Like A River". An ex-member of the Kensington Temple Choir, Ms Tandoh carries these songs very well with her vocal talent. She also reveals her songwriting talent in some of the songs. The theme I was most impressed with was that of praying and trusting God in the darkest of times when all things go wrong. These songs are obviously written out of a mature faith that knows how to hang on in there in troubled times. Overall, I found in this album some encouraging lyrics and some good contemporary R&B sounds. I liked it.
