NarrowMind is Andre Byers who according to his business card is introduced as artist, producer and engineer. Houston-based Andre is part of RightwizeNoize Productions. On this particular CD NarrowMind addresses life issues and how God is there for you no matter what you may be going through such as on "Song Of Solomon". Also he gives the listener a glimpse into his past with personal testimony, with his lyrics such as, "Don't trip/'cos I got a new relationship/Real protection from the Lord/Not a pistol on my hip" from the cut "Sake Of My Peeps". There are also some straight evangelistic tracks with biblical truths on songs like "Jesus" and "In The Beginning" which hit home. On the whole though, there is nothing new here or anything that would make it stand out from the hundreds of other gospel hip-hop projects getting released. But still, not a bad effort.
